What is Elsys and what do you specialise in?

Elsys (Elephant Systems SL) is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in electrical, control system, and software solutions for the marine and offshore energy industry. We are based in Vigo, Spain, in the heart of the Galician shipbuilding industry, and have been delivering innovative marine automation solutions for over 15 years. Our expertise encompasses the complete project lifecycle from initial design and planning through to commissioning, maintenance, and ongoing support.

Where are you located and do you work internationally?

Our headquarters are located at Calle Reconquista N9 Entresuelo Dcha, 36201 Vigo, Spain. Whilst we are strategically positioned in one of Europe's most dynamic maritime engineering hubs, we work with clients internationally across the marine and offshore energy sectors. Our location provides us with excellent access to major shipyards and maritime infrastructure, enabling us to serve clients throughout Europe and beyond.

Can you work with existing systems or do you only provide new installations?

We work with both new installations and existing systems. Our expertise includes retrofitting modern automation and control systems into existing vessels, integrating our solutions with legacy equipment, and upgrading systems to meet current regulatory requirements. We understand that many operators need to modernise existing fleets, and we have extensive experience in seamlessly integrating new technology with established infrastructure.
